What is fulfilment by Gifts for Life?

Fulfilment by Gifts for Life is an option given to you. It means that we would hold inventory of your products and ship it out to the customers on your behalf once a purchase has been made. This option enables you, especially if you are a non-European suppliers, to increase your online sales in the UK and the rest of the Europe, and reach a wider customer base by reducing your shipping cost to international destinations. 

All you need to do is to send your products to us. We’ll store your inventory, pick, pack and ship your orders. This service will be fully integrated with your Gifts for Life selling account and provides you with a flexible, pay-per-use model without minimum inventory requirements. Gifts for Life will charge you 25% of sales price  for usage of fulfilment by Gifts for Life service. This 25% fee covers sales commission and shipping & handling fees to deliver your products to customers.

 

How much do you pay Gifts for Life??

Shipping fulfilment by you: You pay 15% + VAT (if applicable) of the item sales price (inclusive of any customs, import, export, and excise duty, VAT and other taxes which may be applicable) to Gifts For Life. This is calculated only on the item sale price, the item  sale price, the item sale price is exclusive of delivery charges.

Shipping fulfilment by Gifts for Life: You pay 25% + VAT (if applicable) of the item sales price (inclusive of any customs, import, export, and excise duty, VAT and other taxes which may be applicable) to Gifts For Life. This is calculated only on the item sale price, the item sale price is exclusive of delivery charges.

Let us see an example:

You sell a recycled notebook on Gifts for Life at £10.00  (inclusive of any customs, import, export, and excise duty, VAT and other taxes which may be applicable) to a customer in the UK with delivery charge of £3.00.

Buyer FAQs

How can I pay on Gifts For Life?

We use PayPal to process all transactions on Gifts for Life. There will be no payment processing fee charged to you.

What is the delivery charge and waiting time?

Each order may be sent directly by the artisans or fulfilled by Gifts for Life. Artisan vendors and Gifts for Life set their own timings for delivery based on the place they are located at and courier service used. As some artisans are based in rural areas, the delivery time might take a little longer.

Can I consolidate purchase from different artisans into one shipment?

When artisans make and send your purchased items to you directly, we are unable to consolidate your purchase from different artisans into one shipment. However, when artisans send your purchased items through Gifts for Life (i.e shipment fulfillment service), we will try our best effort to consolidate your purchase into one shipment.

What if the product I receive differs from what I see in photographs on product pages?

We seek your understanding that some artisans are using recycled materials which is dependent on what materials are available to make the items, and hence there may be slight colour or design variations in some of the products you receive as compared to the photographs shown on our site. However, artisans will state this clearly on their product pages to inform you if this is a likely case for some of their products. Please ensure that you read this carefully and feel comfortable with the purchase before proceeding to buy. 

Will it cost me to return an item?

We are not responsible for return postage costs other than for incorrect, mis-described or faulty. When returning an item you should retain proof of posting from your shipper as we will not be responsible for any items that fail to reach us.

Because of increased volume during sale please allow 7-10 days for your return to be processed once it reaches us.
